We study the structure and mechanism of viral protein-nucleic acid complexes to understand how viruses replicate and how to inhibit them with small molecules

By studying host cell innate immunity in molecular detail we can apply a structure-guided approach to anti-viral drug design
NUCLEOTIDE REGULATION
Our lab investigates how cells regulate their nucleotide pool (building blocks of DNA and RNA) to better understand processes such as cell division, cancer and viral replication
